Rase Romanesti, Porumbei gusati

Porumbeii gusati – porumbei cunoscuti în Europa si India înca din anul 1600. Se presupune ca ar fi adusi din Asia. Porumbeii gusati sunt caracterizati printr-o gusa situata pe fata anterioara a gâtului, pe care o umfla si o dezumfla dupa vointa. Configuratia corpului este variata: se cunosc rase cu picioare foarte lungi, cu corpul tinut aproape vertical, altele cu picioare scurte si cu corpul tinut orizontal.
